Manuelita discovered her calling not through art school corridors but working with needles - piercing and tattooing were her first passions to open the gates to the world of creating art.

Since 2019, Manuelita embraces radical nomadism, drawing inspiration from landscapes, human encounters and random objects across continents.

​

She sees Tattooing as a ritual, a symbiosis of energies where transformation is being made visible on human bodies. In contrast to this paintings and drawings are the projects that bring out the inner world of Manuelita to outer world expressions.

Her work reflects the harmony between the raw intensity of darkness and the delicate elegance of fluid motion.

Working primarily with graphite, ballpoint pens and acrylics, she creates pieces reflecting continuous dialogue between internal landscapes and the external world.
