About

Manuelita discovered her calling not through art school corridors but working with needles - piercing and tattooing were her first passions to open the gates to the world of creating art.

Since 2019, she embraces radical nomadism, drawing inspiration from landscapes, human encounters, and objects - bones, vases, instruments - that catch her attention through their shape and emotional charge.

She sees tattooing as ritual, a symbiosis of energies where transformation becomes visible on human bodies. Paintings and drawings serve different purposes: channeling her inner world outward, often exploring deep personal processes rather than decorating bodies.

Her practice oscillates between deliberate emotional excavation and spontaneous surrender - letting her hand move freely, embracing intuition over intention.

The work reflects harmony between raw darkness and fluid elegance, blending organic ornamental forms with botanical-inspired lines and the structured rhythm of mechanical repetition.

Working primarily with graphite, ballpoint pens, and acrylics, she creates pieces that guide viewers to known and unknown mindscapes.
